Woodfarm House is a charming and cosy 500 year old dog friendly holiday cottage in rural Suffolk. With a private courtyard garden with a hot tub and the Suffolk Tourist Route and coastline on your doorstep, this is a perfect choice for a romantic getaway.
One of a private collection of eight dog-friendly holiday cottages (seven of which have private hot tubs) for two, each with a fully enclosed garden, down a leafy lane in the heart of the county just outside the little Suffolk village of Stonham Aspal on the Suffolk Tourist Route. There are lovely walks and cycling straight from the Barns and it is within easy striking distance of the lovely Suffolk Coastal destinations like Southwold, Thorpeness, Dunwich Heath, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford.
The house lies down a country lane on the outskirts of the village of Crowfield, not far from popular coastal destinations like Southwold, Thorpeness, Dunwich Heath, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford. The countryside around here is stunning and the house is surrounded by pretty lanes which you can either explore on foot or on the bikes provided. Some of the best walks start from our door! Alternatively you could go to one of the beaches on this famous heritage coast, or visit pubs, restaurants, deli's, coffee shops and country stores in the nearby villages and towns.

The cottage sleeps two people and is simply oozing character, with its old oak beams and cosy feel. Downstairs is a large farmhouse kitchen with a range cooker, butler sink and rustic table. Head through the hall to the spacious sitting room with inglenook fireplace and the dining room ‘snug’. The staircase leads from the sitting room up to the king size bedroom. There is also a dressing room, which leads through to the bathroom with a wonderful claw footed roll top bath. Wifi, TV, DVD, ipod dock and masses of CD’s DVD’s and books included.
The cottage has a fully enclosed private courtyard garden which has a fabulous ‘indoor-outdoor’ room with a luxury hot tub, charcoal BBQ and table and chairs for al fresco dining. Bikes are provided free of charge for you to enjoy exploring the local lanes during your stay. There is a fully secure two acre meadow for our four-legged guests to run around and play with each other, along with seating for the two-legged guests to chat as well! There’s a smaller section inside for nervous or older dogs to exercise on their own.
