General Info
Locally crafted and clad in oak, this beautiful little property exudes a rustic charm from its humble exterior yet doesn’t skimp on luxury in the slightest. Guests will delight in its stunning décor and sumptuous soft furnishings while being treated to a number of high-quality and somewhat unexpectedly cool features like a marble basin, brass kitchen worktops and curved skylight above the bed for moon gazing at midnight.

Positioned in a quiet field overlooking the sprawling countryside, Charlotte’s also enjoys spectacular views that roll all the way down to the sea, and a private wood-fired hot tub which perches on its own small deck to the front of the hut is exactly the place you’ll want to completely unwind while taking in those far-reaching vistas.

Spend your days stretched out on a blanket with a picnic and a good book in the nearby meadow or meandering one of the many surrounding paths that are strewn throughout the landscape. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there are woodlands and valleys to explore as well as the rugged beach at Kilve (just 12 minutes’ walk away), and the huts even offer fossil finding and birdwatching kits for you to make the most of the experience. Evenings can be whiled away with a G&T around the outdoor fire bowl or curled up inside with a home cooked dinner and a game of cards while the log fire roars away in the corner.

Charlotte’s Hut can be found on the family-run smallholding of Old Rectory House in Kilve, rural Somerset. To find out more about what the site offers including its surrounding attractions >> please click here
