A spacious one bedroom apartment in the southwest wing of a spectacular classical Spanish country manor house in the province of Almeria in Andalucia, Spain. It sits in lush gardens and is a private and luxurious hideaway yet is just a 10 minute drive from the beach and five minutes from the bustling centre of Vera.
The town of Vera in Andalucia is 10km inland from the coastline with its wide sandy beaches. The resort of Mojacar is based around a white washed village perched on the mountainside, and several kilometres of beach with beach bars at one end and remote coves at the other. The province of Almeria is known to have the sunniest weather in Europe with over 320 days of sunshine per year. This quirky accommodation is oozing character and an excellent choice for anyone looking for holiday villas in Spain.
The nearby village of Vera has a Saturday market and a good range of shops, cafes and restaurants. You can reach Vera’s 6km of sandy beaches in under 10 minutes by car, passing the flamingo filled nature reserve en route. There’s an area of beach designated for naturists, and some excellent beachside restaurants and bars. La Micaela is a great location for exploring eastern Andalucia - visit the abandoned mines, climb inside the giant geode in the Cabo de Gata national park and explore the extinct volcano and gold mine. There’s a nearby art complex to visit, and the city of Almeria is a one hour drive and well worth exploring. Beyond Almeria city is the Alpujarra valley with its white hillside villages, also well worth a visit.

Interior Details
The apartment is in the southwest wing of the house but has its own private entrance which opens out onto the open plan kitchen / dining / living room area. This area is bright and spacious, with large windows overlooking the pool area and opening out into the interior courtyard. A door leads through to the ensuite double bedroom. There is wifi throughout.
Exterior Details
From the bedroom, French doors open onto the courtyard at one side and a terrace on the other. There’s a swimming pool for guest use with a BBQ and a poolside pavilion. Parking on site.
