The Barn has something for everyone. Grown-ups can listen to music on the Sonos speaker and kids can play on the Xbox in their room to their hearts' content, although you'll probably want to spend most of your time outdoors either soaking away in the hot tub or exploring the beautiful surrounding either by bike or on foot. Being slap bang between the north and south coasts of Cornwall means, for those guests looking to spend time on the beach, there's no shortage of sandy stretches to enjoy, so don't forget to pack the buckets and spades or the boules set!
The nearby harbour town of Padstow promises some of the best fish and chips in Cornwall or a visit to historic Charlestown with its tall ships and old-worldy village atmosphere is a wonderful way while an afternoon away. Both are less than half an hour away, with an abundance of other Cornish highlights within easy reach. The Lanhyrock Estate is only five minutes from the front door so for an outdoor picnic, scenic garden strolls or scones and a pot of tea, there's no better place. For the truly adventurous, Cardinham Woods is about five miles away and offer visitors the chance to explore some amazing woodland walks, numerous bike trails and a bite to eat in its pet friendly woodland cafe.
