General Info
This charming Grade II listed 18th century former stables sits in the heart of an idyllic rural English village where many of the properties are thatched. Full of character, the property boasts exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. If you can bear to tear yourself away you are within 10 minutes drive of places such as Monkey World, Tolpuddle Martyrs Museum and Thomas Hardy s Cottage. The beautiful Jurassic Coast with Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Corfe Castle are 20 minutes away and the seaside resorts of Weymouth, Poole, Swanage and Studland are within 30 minutes. Dorchester, the county town, is 10 miles away, offering a selection of independent shops and restaurants. Alternatively, explore the lovely surrounding countryside on foot with miles of footpaths to enjoy and dog friendly pubs within a few miles. The property has authentic wooden floors and exposed wooden beams through all of its spaces. The stable door leads to the entrance hall and kitchen which is equipped with beautiful beech worktops.
