General Info
Set in a peaceful corner of the village and out of the way of the usual hustle and bustle, the thoroughly refurbished Three Gables is a haven of cool design and artistic flair with bold accents and a mix of natural textures complimenting the modernist interior. The property’s owners have cleverly maximised every gorgeous inch of the space to infuse the home with elements of luxury as well as uniquely designed storage, creating a sense of comfort that guests will feel truly at home in.

Open plan in design, the living/dining and cooking areas are bathed in natural light during the day thanks to floor to ceiling glass sliding doors. Opening out to a private terrace and lawn garden the views over the rural landscape are dreamy, so for outdoor meals or drinks al fresco it’s the perfect spot. After sundown when the mood switches, guests can camp out on the pudding sofa or squish chair for an evening of movies or, set up Monopoly on the dining room table and battle it out for Mayfair and Park Lane.

Upstairs, the main bedroom is bright white with soft grey carpets for warmth, while crisp cottons adorn the double bed. A glass door opens out to the decked balcony with more of those pastoral views, and if a morning coffee is your thing this is the best place to sip it. The children’s bunk bedroom (which is packed with toys) is a young person’s haven, and older kids get to hang out in their own den which sits on top of the mezzanine level and has a supercool ladder for access.

Positioned between Watergate Bay and Newquay, Porth Beach is best-known for its safe swimming and family-friendly vibe. The beach is lifeguarded all year round and the shallows are perfect for tots and toddlers to splash around in. The long tidal drop reveals many beautiful rock pools and due to its position between two headlands it is very sheltered. Across the road from the beach is Roo's Beach Hut where visitors can stock up on fishing nets, buckets and sun cream while on the opposite side of the car park is Café Coast for cream teas and ice cream in the sunshine.

For guests hoping to take to the waves, the renowned surfing beach at Watergate Bay is a five-ish minute drive to the north, and the famous Fistral Beach is about 10 minutes in the opposite direction. Newquay’s other beaches including Lusty Glaze, Tolcarne and Great Western are also within easy reach as are the town’s various restaurants, surf shops and spa.

Travel cot and high chair are available on request
