Feochan Bheag is a modern country house which has been designed with a traditional external appearance whilst having up to date and stylish interiors and mod cons. As you wind your way up the glen on a quite single track road you can feel yourself starting to unwind. Beautiful landscapes all around you, and panoramic views from the house and terrace to the river and wooded hills beyond.
There are many activities that can be found in and around Oban to keep the family happy - why not visit the Sea Life Centre, go walking on nearby Kerrera Island, or go on an exciting SeaFari to see the dolphins, seals and maybe even a whirlpool! There are many fabulous cycle trails to explore the area, including the new Oban to Fort William beautiful coastal cycle path. Sea Kayaking is loads of fun and Oban boasts two kayaking training centres for the whole family to experience. Oban is known as the seafood capital of Scotland, and you`ll find a variety of good restaurants and cafés to suit your tastes. Take the ferry to explore one of the many islands accessible from Oban, including the beautiful Iona, Colonsey and wild Mull. There are countless beautiful walks from the door and the Musdale Falls is only a 10 minute walk from the house.

Feochan Bheag has 5 bedrooms and can sleep 10 comfortably (an additional 2 children can be accommodated on request). One of the bedrooms (superking or twin with ensuite shower) is on the ground floor. There are four further bedrooms on the first floor - two kings (one ensuite) and two twins. There’s an additional bathroom and downstairs WC. The kitchen, lounge and dining room are large and open plan. There is a large double sided wood burning stove. There are panoramic views of Feochan Glen from the triple aspect sitting room. The kitchen has freestanding breakfast bar, electric range cooker and an american fridge freezer. Downstairs also has underfloor heating. There are radiators upstairs and heated towel rails throughout.
French doors from the living space open out onto a well appointed patio area with an expansive vista across the fields to the river and the wooded hills beyond; ideal for BBQs and al fresco dining.
There is an independent chef available to cater for special occasions - just enquire for more details. There is a good mobile phone signal, 3G and free wifi.
Conditions of Rental
No smoking/vaping at Feochan Bheag. House available from 4pm on day of arrival to 10am on departure day. Deposit 25% of rental to confirm booking. 2 dogs allowed with walks from the door. Accessibility: Feochan Bheag is a partially accessible property accessed via gravel driveway with a hardstanding ramp up to the main door. There is plenty space to allow for a car to drop off at this ramp. The ground floor bedroom with walking access ensuite shower and toilet can be either a superking bed or twin. Shared spaces are easily accessed at ground level with no door threshes save for external doors which are no more than 25mm. The open plan kitchen is laid out incredibly well and allows for plenty turning space.
