The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation
Newlyn is fast becoming a favourite with holiday makers and has seen some wonderful developments in the local amenities, including bars and bistros, restaurants, a theatre, cinema and the Newlyn art gallery. Enjoy a walk along the promenade or catch the ferry to the mystical Isle of Scilly. A mere 9 miles from St Ives, 6 miles from Porthcurno and 4 miles from Marazion means visitors will be spoilt for choice between some of Cornwall’s most loved famous beaches.
Newlyn is an all year-round destination with December seeing people flock to the nearby village of Mousehole for their famous Christmas lights and to sample the wonderful Star Gazey Pie.

Once you have unloaded, head down to the car park located on the harbour front. The car park is pay and display and should have plenty of spaces for the duration of your visit. There is another (cheaper) car park called Sandy Cove, which is a 2 minute drive away in the direction of Mousehole (about a 5 minute walk). Alternatively, there is street parking around Newlyn but this, of course, cannot be guaranteed and is on a first come first served basis.
