Romantic Horsebox Conversion in a Farm Setting
In search of a quirky and romantic retreat? How about a stay in this fabulous converted horsebox on a family run farm in Colyton, just 10 minutes from the coast near the border of Devon & Dorset. The converted horsebox is in a farm setting and guests are welcome to wander into the farm to meet the cows, dogs, chickens and horses, and there are beautiful walks from your door through Colyton and below the farm through the fields, as well as easy access to the coast at Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Seaton.
Heaven for walkers, there are many walking trails from the door, some of which will take you past some excellent pubs. The popular Seaton Tram is within walking distance. The coast is close - in the car you can be in Seaton in under 10 minutes, or 15 minutes to Lyme Regis, Charmouth or Sidmouth.

Interior Details
Inside the horsebox is cosy but well equipped with all you might need for your stay. The kitchen has an oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and even a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser! There’s a seating area beside the kitchen with views over the field where the milking herd graze, and electric heating to keep you cosy on chillier days. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, and a small wooden ladder leads to the bedroom space - a comfy double mattress and TV, and a small window with views over the Umbourne Valley and Colyton. There is storage space in the cab for suitcases / outdoor gear.
Exterior Details
There is a private decked area with seating at the back of the horsebox and a dedicated parking area to the side.
Conditions of Rental
Check in from 3pm, check out by 10am. One well behaved dog welcome. Generally it is quiet, but as it’s a working farm you might sometimes hear tractors or indeed chickens!
