General Info
Set against a stunning backdrop of mountains, rolling hills, and wooded valleys, this beautifully converted farmhouse is the perfect retreat for families and groups looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, you’ll have easy access to miles of scenic trails, with the peaks of Cribyn, Fan Y Big, and Pen-y-Fan just waiting to be explored on foot, by bike, or even on horseback. For a fun family outing, Cantref Adventure Farm is only 1 mile away. The charming market town of Brecon, known for its cathedral, museum, and dining options, is a short 3.5-mile drive.

Inside, the farmhouse offers a spacious and inviting living area located on the first floor beneath the eaves. The main room, with its soaring wooden beams, exposed stone walls, and antique furnishings, is made even cosier by a roaring wood burner. For added fun, guests can enjoy music from a vintage 1960s Wurlitzer jukebox. The farmhouse-style kitchen, adorned with bright tiles and traditional touches, is fully equipped with a large double oven, hob, Ninja air fryer, larder fridge, dishwasher, microwave, waste disposal unit, and an additional fridge/freezer. Gather around the grand dining table that seats eight for memorable meals together. A small staircase leads to two bedrooms: an elegant king-size room and a double, both with en-suite shower rooms. A winding oak staircase takes you to the ground floor, where a cosy hallway offers additional seating. Here, you’ll find a family shower room and two more king-size bedrooms. There is also a separate WC, along with a utility room equipped with laundry facilities and an extra fridge/freezer.

Outside, the picturesque, enclosed garden features a lawn dotted with flowering shrubs, a BBQ, and comfortable garden furniture. Bathed in sunlight, it's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a leisurely afternoon, or fire up the BBQ for an outdoor feast while taking in the mountain vistas.
