One-Off Feature

In the hamlet of St Issey, 4 miles outside the popular Cornish seaside town of Padstow, you’ll find this extraordinary property.  This 18th century manor House, courthouse & mill has been redesigned and converted by a London based architecture studio and is now a luxury 12 bedroom / five reception room holiday house sleeping up to 26 guests.  Ideal large group accommodation.  This property is part of our holidays in Cornwall collection of unique and unusual places to stay.

General Info

Exposed Cornish slated walls, restored historic fireplaces and original beams have been combined with modern luxury touches producing a remarkable holiday house which oozes architectural elegance.  Guests can plan to do as much or as little as they’d like - there’s an online ‘lobby’ which you can use to curate your stay - private bartenders, chefs, in-house yoga classes, photography shoots and breakfast deliveries are just some of what’s on offer with this virtual concierge service.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

St Issey is a peaceful village in Cornwall between Wadebridge and Padstow.  It is home to a couple of pubs, and a small shop, and is just 5 miles from the coast and the sandy beaches of north Cornwall.  There’s masses to do in the surrounding area, whether you’re seeking beach life, hiking and biking, wildlife, history & culture.  There are many beautiful walking trails, and with the Camel Estuary on your doorstep you can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding and birdwatching along this famous estuary.  The Camel Trail is an 18 mile stretch following a disused railway line, ideal for walking, cycling or horse riding.  Padstow itself is a foodie’s paradise, with some fantastic seafood restaurants, a dramatic coastline, and as the starting point for wildlife boat trips and watersports activities.
