A collection of five luxury safari tents set in beautiful Lancashire countryside, within easy reach both of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Perfect for families and groups of friends, dog friendly, this super comfy glamping accommodation comes with real beds, hot water and cosy wood burning stoves. The private estate is on the western side of the Forest of Bowland AONB, 30 mins from Lancaster and 45 mins from the famous Blackpool pleasure beach.
The glamping site is tucked away at the end of a private country lane, surrounded by green fields and dry stone walls, with the Bowland Fells providing a breathtaking backdrop. The site sits above the serene River Brock, where you can build dams, explore the quiet pools and catch sticklebacks. The surrounding woods are an adventure playground for children. Local footpaths cross the woodland, and you can explore the Bowland Fells or the nearby Stone Age circle without needing to go anywhere near a road.
The site has direct access to the local footpaths, including a Stone Age circle just a 20-minute walk away and the open access area of the Bowland Fells is just a little further away. Explore the Fells on two wheels, or cycle to the charming village of Chipping to visit the pubs, and cafes. You can also cycle to the nearby Beacon Fell Country Park - electric bike hire is also available on the estate. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy the bird and wildlife watching, or a visit to the Bowland Wild Boar Park (20 mins drive). There are several fishing lakes in the area, local horseriding centres, canal cruises, and Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the thrill seekers!

Interior Details
Each tent can sleep up to six people in three bedrooms - one king, one twin and one bunk room. All bedding is supplied and there’s clothes storage in all the bedrooms. Travel cots are available for a small additional charge and can be added in any bedroom. The tent has a comfortable sitting area with a sofa, coffee table and a wood burning stove. The dining area has a table with seating for up to six people. The kitchen is well equipped with a sink, double gas hob, cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery, and a cool box for storing food (with free ice packs available from the site shop). Candles and lanterns are supplied. There is a separate WC and shower room with hot and cold running water. Towels are provided.
Exterior Details
Each tent has a private deck with outdoor seating and a coffee table. There is a firepit in front of each tent - ideal for BBQs.
Conditions
Check in from 4pm, check out by 10am. Prices include all bed linen and towels, as well as unlimited wood for use in your firepit / BBQ for the duration of your stay. Travel cots and highchairs available on request for a small additional charge. Up to four well behaved dogs per tent are welcomed for a small additional charge. Please note this is an off grid experience with no electricity on site. Light is provided by candles, portable lamps and solar powered lighting.
