  General Info
The house is in a stunning elevated position, very central within the woodland in the village of Inverie and enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with the privacy of our woodland. There are few houses that are set back off from the estate road yet close enough to the the pier, post office and village pub The Old Forge, when you want them! The house is South facing, so it enjoys hours of sunshine all year round. The house is made up of floor to ceiling glass, so you share your views with only the deer, golden eagle and abundant birdlife while watching dolphin, porpoise, seal and otter in the loch.

Details on the area surrounding the property/accommodation
Watch otters at play and deer in the woods from the house decking in an ideal elevated position looking directly across the loch and out to the small isles. Catch the Jacobite Steam train made famous by the car chase with the little wizard of Hogwart from Mallaig for the day. Take a day trip on one of our many fast water taxis to the small isles of Eigg Rum and Canna and visit Rum Castle. Go whale and dolphin watching, climb one of the three munros, organise a days stalking / shooting on the Knoydart Estate. Look for sea-eagles, book a rangers guided walk, go crabbing on the shores of loch Nevis, fungi foraging in the woods beside the house or curl up with a book after a long soak in the hottub under the stars. End your day with a nightcap in the local award winning hostelry, The Old Forge, mainland Britain`s remotest pub.
