Less than a 5 minutes drive (2 km) down the hill is the coastal town of Villafranca Tirrena, with its shops, supermarkets, restaurants and beautiful sandy beaches. Here you can sunbath or swim in the crystal-clear warm waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea which make swimming pleasant from mid-April through October. The villa is ideally located to explore eastern Sicily including the stunning town of Taormina, Tindari with its lakes, Sanctuary and Greek-Roman remains, Milazzo, Cefalù and Capo d’Orlando with their superb beaches, Mount Etna volcano, the Aeolian Islands, the Nebrodi nature reserve with its wonderful walking routes and unspoiled hill towns, the UNESCO-protected baroque towns of Siracusa, Modica, Ragusa and Noto... thousands of years of history in one island! A visit to the small hill-top village of Serro (a 10 mins walk away) will give you a unique opportunity to sample rural Sicilian life as it has been lived for centuries. |

The villa is on two levels. The front entrance takes you into a spacious open hall including dining and sitting areas with wood burning fireplace. Off this living area is a good-size and fully equipped kitchen, with access to the shaded veranda and the garden. The ground floor also features a double bedroom with queen size bed and a bathroom with shower. Some stairs take you to the first floor which is home to a sitting area with sofa-bed, a double bedroom with queen size bed, a bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with shower. The two bedrooms boast spectacular countryside and sea views. The interior is fully furnished with a warm and simple decor. Air conditioning is fitted in the three bedrooms and in the living area.

Located at 200 meters above sea level, Villa Anna is immersed in a peaceful open countryside with the fabulous panorama of the northern Sicilian coast. The secluded outside space includes a barbecue area and a wooden pergola (with direct access to the kitchen), which is ideal for al-fresco dining while taking in the breathtaking views across the garden, the countryside and the sea. The front garden, filled with Mediterranean plants and trees, also features a sunny sitting area with spectacular views and dramatic sunset over the Tyrrhenian sea and, on a good day, all seven Aeolian islands can be clearly seen. The surrounding private grounds of over 8000 square meters are filled with olive groves and fruit trees including a vineyard…. there is always fresh fruit to be picked, whatever the season! The estate also produces an excellent olive oil. In October the olives are hand-picked and cold pressed in the old traditional way, our guests are welcome to see the operations first hand!

- The rates are for occupancy of up to 6 people. For 2 people occupancy, a 10% reduction is offered.
- The rates are all inclusive of utilities (water, electricity and gas), final cleaning, bed linen and towels.
- Pricing for other options such as maid/cooking service is available on request.
- A 25% deposit is required in order to secure your booking. Full balance due no less than 4 weeks before arrival date. Payment by bank transfer or credit card.
- Refundable security deposit of 300 euros required with full balance, to be returned within 2 weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

Villa Anna is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There are superb views from the villa to both the mountains and the sea. Ideal for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all holiday. Just take a stack of books, get some of the excellent local wine and unwind (but don't forget the mossie repellents)."

Absolutely beautiful and secluded location, the views are spectacular. Clear warm seas and nice beaches are 5 minutes drive away and swimming is great. The house is very comfortable and has a large garden and beautiful grounds. The area had much to capture our interest: Tindari, Taormina, Mount Etna, the Aeolian Islands, the Nebrodi Mountains. We did some of the main features and we recommend them all. However, at the end of each day, sometimes earlier, we were delighted to return home to relax and enjoy watching the sunset over the sea and the Aeolian Islands, absolutely stunning! A truly relaxing, delightful place to stay, if I could return tomorrow, I would!

The area was beautiful, as were the views from the house. Our family had a great time here. It was good not being overlooked by any other houses and to have the garden secure for the safety of our children. The villa was very comfortable and the owner is very thoughtful regarding his guests. The location is so peaceful yet close to many other great areas to visit. Some beautiful beaches are only five minutes by car and swimming was great. It was the most relaxing vacation in years, we will recommend this place highly. Thank you.

We loved this villa, peaceful, very secluded, with stunning views over the sea and the unspoilt countryside. The place was ideal for our children and they enjoyed it so much, it was very safe for them to play in the garden and in the back lawn. We spent most days at the beach in Villafranca, so convenient, only 5 minutes drive. The beach is sandy, water is very warm, we were swimming until 8.30pm and the sun was still there! The shops and supermarkets in Villafranca are very convenient and we use to buy the food there and cook it at home. Have a try at the recommended local shops, meat and fish are excellent and we had a couple of great barbecues. On the last day, we visited Taormina, such a gem, with its medieval streets, beautiful shops and bars. Thank you, Francesco, for being such helpful and nice owner!"
