General Info |

The chalet is located in a very peaceful and beautiful part of the Chamonix valley with amazing views down the valley to Servoz and to the right the Mont Blanc Range. It is only 5 minutes drive to the ski lifts in Les Houches or a little further down to Chamonix. There are several good restaurants and bars such as Le Delice nearby in Les Houches and the views from the chalet at night are fantastic looking down on the lights in the valley.
Whilst the principal town is of the same name, 'Chamonix' is often used in reference to the whole valley, stretching over 28km from Le Fayet to Switzerland. It is, however, made up of several distinct and charming villages including Servoz, Les Houches, Les Bossons, Les Praz, Les Tines, Argentiere, Montroc, and at the top of the valley: Le Tour. |

Surrounding the chalet are meadows covered in snow in winter and in summer you can spot deer, badgers, marmot and birds as well as the many varieties of Alpine flowers. In winter the whole area is covered in snow and really is a beautiful alpine spectacle. In summer it is a fantastic spot to start the many walking trails over the mountains towards St Gervais and along to Chamonix.

Further Details |
Situated in the Haute-Savoie region of France, Chamonix is bordered by Switzerland and Italy and dominated by the incredible Aiguilles de Chamonix mountain chain which peaks at the top of Mont Blanc (4810m) - the highest in Western Europe. Chamonix is probably best known as the skiing and alpine capital of the world. As a destination it has a reputation for the extreme and this, whilst undoubtedly true, can mask a wide array of sporting and leisure activities (particularly in summer), peace and quiet, great nightlife, and superb scenery that can be enjoyed at whichever pace suits you. Chamonix is the perfect place to come for a week's holiday, a season, or a lifetime, as you will never run out of things to do or tire of the views! The lively streets of Chamonix are a colourful mix of sport shops, guide offices, restaurants, bars and cafés.

First of all I want to thank you personally for your participation in our choice of chalet. It was very nice and our holiday was as expected, meaning great! But, I am cc-ing Ioana, that is our copywriter, and she is good with words to describe you better our holidays in Chamonix, since when we have good time we want to share it.
Finally, I want to express my best for Corin, he was a great host and as we told him we expect him in Greece or Cyprus this summer. You may know winter well, but we know summer best!
Thank you again.
