Surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside, this single-storey holiday home sits close to the water''s edge at a well-established fishery, with a working farm close by. Inside, the wide entrance hall leads into a light and airy open-plan living room where the lounge area has comfortable seating and TV, plus fully glazed doors offering lake views. There''s an open aspect to the front of the lodge; sit out on the terrace and look across the water, or enjoy a stroll in the grounds around the three angling lakes - there''ll be birds and other wildlife to spot as you wander. The vibrant market town of Hay-on-Wye is 16 miles - host of the famous literary festival and home to a weekly market, it''s also where you can join the stunning Offa''s Dyke Path. Just 8 miles in the opposite direction, Hereford''s cathedral - complete with medieval Mappa Mundi and Chained Library - is a must-see.
