Narrow, winding, steep Devon lanes lead to this pretty, detached, thatched cottage alongside a bridlepath on the side of the Cottwood Valley. The cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, two double and a twin (2'6" truckle, linkable to 5' double) with a shower room and a downstairs bathroom. On the ground floor are a kitchen with wood burning stove and dining area and a sitting room with wood burning stove. This remote, rural cottage has lovely views of wooded hills beyond and easy access to beautiful woodland and river walks in an unspoiled corner of Devon, far away from tourist hotspots. It best suits people who would like a taste of quiet rural life, with peaceful days and dark nights.
From the narrow driveway (confident driving skills required!), gate to enclosed garden, cobbled terrace and steps up to well stocked, secluded garden with pond (covered), decked area, patio, Garden Retreat Room (ideal office space with WiFi, not heated) and sloping lawns.
