The B&B lies in the coastal village of Serra do Bouro with Foz do Arelho (5km South) and São Martinho do Porto (5km North) as the nearest beaches. Flamboyant b&b is geographically ideally located to discover central Portugal and the Silver Coast, one of the most interesting regions of Portugal with a diverse range of UNESCO cultural heritage, wide beaches, nature parks, gastronomy, wine..... The nearby coastline is dotted with beaches, from the unspoilt sands at Praia do Salgado to the touristy stretch at Sao Martinho do Porto, or you could visit the bustling streets of medieval Obidos or the fascinating monasteries of Alcobaça and Batalha. The Ilhas Berlengas, a group of islands just off the coast, are beautiful and bursting with bird life, there are plenty of quintas in which to sample local wines, or you could go golfing, horse riding, hiking, snorkelling or surfing. There’s definitely something for everyone here - spend your days alternating cultural excursions, beach trips and walks in the local nature parks. You could combine a stay at Flamboyant B&B with a city trip to Lisbon or a trip to Porto.

Interior Details
There are two accommodation options on site – a converted windmill and three contemporary suites. Each is set independently in the garden. Each room sleeps 2. The windmill is truly quirky and comprises a bedroom under a splendid vaulted roof, a living room and a modern bathroom with a rain shower. The suites are each a spacious 32m2 with a large double bedroom, a living area with sofa bed, a bathroom and views over the pool and the forest beyond. All rooms offer complimentary wireless internet access, bathroom products, air-conditioning, Nespresso machines, mineral water, fresh fruit and cookies. Each room also has a Smeg minibar with a selection of drinks and snacks. Rooms are cleaned daily. The organic breakfast buffet is included in the price and is served 0830 - 1030 each morning.
Exterior Details
Within the garden there is a gorgeous saltwater swimming pool and a selection of sun beds and hammocks in which to read a book or enjoy a siesta.
Conditions of Rental
Minimum stay is 2 nights. An extensive and luxurious organic breakfast buffet is included in the rate. We serve meal salads, snacks and cocktails on request. We offer single travellers 10 euro reduction per night on the room rate. The B&B is closed Oct - Apr.
