It is perfectly positioned for exploring North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. The medieval town of Shrewsbury and the city of Chester, both of which date back to Roman times, and are within 20 miles. Great for cyclists, walkers and bird watchers, it is an excellent starting point for exploring the Shropshire Way, Offa’s Dyke, the Cheshire Sandstone Way, Snowdonia and many wonderful gardens including Erddig, Wollerton Old Hall and Cholmondeley.
