Located in the heart of the historic market town of Ludlow, this 17th-century cottage is the perfect romantic retreat for couples. Combining charming period features with contemporary comfort, the property offers easy access to the town centre, and Ludlow Castle is within 0.5 miles. For nature lovers, the Shropshire Hills (within 14 miles) offer picturesque walking trails. Stokesay Castle – a medieval fortified manor house maintained by English Heritage – is just 9 miles away, or you might fancy heading to Bridgnorth (19 miles), famed for its natural beauty and attractions including a medieval castle and a cliff railway. Two nearby National Trust sites are well worth a visit. The first is the 18th -century Berrington Hall, 8.5 miles away; as well as the Georgian mansion, there are landscaped gardens and parkland to explore. The second is Croft Castle (10.5 miles), which sits in 1,500 acres and has a fascinating history spanning centuries.
