Heading north, the vibrant market town of Alnwick (8 miles) is home to the stunning Alnwick Castle and the spectacular Alnwick Garden. To the south, there’s a range of popular attractions and landmarks including Northumberland Zoo, Brinkburn Priory and Manor House, and the site of Lordenshaw Hill Fort along the eastern edge of the magnificent Northumberland National Park, all within 16 miles.
