A wealth of walking trails from your front door will guide you across the rugged farmland to the Skirrid, from whose top you can see stunning 360-degree views across to the Sugar Loaf and Hatterrall Ridge. For cyclists, there are many peaceful lanes and off-road downhill trails to explore, as well as the beautiful River Wye for the more adventurous, with its canoeing and kayaking trips. The region is also rich in history; you can explore many castles set within the vibrant market towns of Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Brecon, and there are many local events including the Usk Show and Abergavenny Food Festival, that are a must.

Larger than the average shepherd's hut, this gorgeous accommodation is beautifully finished and set within a cluster of well-secluded, similar properties. Step inside the open-plan space which has been well thought out, offering a kitchenette with convection oven/grill, microwave, induction hob and fridge with ice compartment; and a dining area with solid wooden stools along with comfortable armchairs for two and a wood burner. There is a built-in double bed with Smart TV where you can enjoy a film before a peaceful night’s rest. There is also a shower room with a shower and WC and unusually, the property benefits from the luxury of underfloor heating.

Outside, you can enjoy the enclosed, landscaped garden, where there is a private hot tub for two with cover, a multi-jet shower, and a sauna - perfect for relaxing after a strenuous day of walking. There is also a recently added temperature controlled plunge pool. The exterior is completed with a comfortable seating area, a hammock, fire pit ,and a gas BBQ for cooking, and a storage box.
