General Info
Enjoy a quintessential Lake District break staying in this lakeside glamping pod on the south-eastern shores of Lake Windermere. Located on a premium holiday park around 5 miles from Bowness on Windermere, this delightful retreat benefits from lake views and direct access for swimming, water sports and lakeside strolls. Comfortably sleeping two adults and two children, it makes a wonderful base for couples and small families seeking relaxation and adventure.
Set on raised decking overlooking the lake, this wooden pod offers the ideal blend of comfort and nature. Constructed from wood, it has a studio-style layout that oozes rustic charm - but with all the modern conveniences. There''s a fully equipped kitchenette with all the basics for preparing simple meals, with both an indoor dining table and a bistro table on the decking with lake views. A double bed and a sofa bed offer space to rest and recharge after days of fun, while a shower room offers comfort and convenience. Guests also benefit from a designated parking space, and there are chargers on site for EVs (at additional cost).
Come equipped with a paddleboard, canoe or kayak and you can slip straight into the water to explore or refresh with a wild swim. Woodland walks and lakeside trails invite you to explore on foot, while a network of ferries connects you with a number of Lakeland towns and attractions, including Bowness (5 miles), Windermere (6.5 miles) or Ambleside (10.5 miles). Ambleside has access to some of the region''s best-loved walks, such as Loughrigg Fell (14.5 miles) and Stock Ghyll Force (11 miles), plus a Roman fort.
