Romantic Cabin Retreat with Hot Tub

Forfar, Dundee and Angus, Scotland
Bedrooms: 1 Guests: 2
General Info
Swap the everyday race for fresh Scottish air when you stay at this cosy rural cabin in Angus. Despite its secluded location, there’s no shortage of exciting walks, attractions and towns to visit and enjoy. Stays here were made for walking adventures, with rambles through the Angus Glens (Glen Prosen 9 miles), where each of the five majestic valleys boasts dramatic landscapes and unique character. For those with a passion for golf, the Kirriemuir and Forfar Golf Courses are both within 11 miles and provide lush fairways with views of the Glens. Tuck into a Forfar Bridie in the namesake market town (10 miles), or travel further south to reach the city of Dundee (24 miles). Other attractions include the memorial for the late Bon Scott Statue (6 miles) and the pirate-themed Peter Pan Park (5.5 miles).

Step inside this wooden-clad cabin, taking in the captivating countryside views as you go. A studio-style design awaits, with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. Prepare a romantic meal for two in the compact yet fully equipped kitchenette, then share your creations at the unique breakfast bar. The L-shaped sofa is ideal for unwinding and converts into a sofa bed that comfortably sleeps two children. Tucked away at the back of the cabin is a double bed and a shower room with a WC. And, when you want to reconnect with nature, gaze through the French doors to savour those unparalleled rolling views.

Outside, the private garden is a wonderful spot for morning coffee, a nightcap while watching the sunset or enjoy stargazing under the unspoiled skies . As well as a BBQ and dining furniture, guests will benefit from the private wood-fired hot tub. There is on-site parking for two cars.
