As well as its iconic granite tors and heather-clad moorland, the park also boasts pretty picnic spots and a fantastic choice of places for wild swimming. Alternatively, spend the day at the coast in Exmouth (25 miles), where you’ll find a long, sandy beach, traditional seaside attractions and eateries, and fantastic clifftop paths to explore.
