Off-Grid Wellbeing Holiday in Spain | One Off Places
Take a look at this gorgeous pair of rural and off grid apartments set in an olive grove a 15 minute drive inland from the Costa Azahar coastline in southern Spain.
Casa de Olivos is in the north of the Castellon province and is set on a hillside overlooking the town of Traiguera. Made up of two apartments sharing a swimming pool, guests can enjoy the outdoor pod areas with their stunning views, spend a night al fresco under the starry skies in a four poster bed, or explore the many hiking and biking trails from the doorstep.
The place has been uniquely designed for guests to enjoy their natural surroundings. There is a saltwater pool and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with a wood fired BBQ. There are three relaxation pods in the terrace gardens - a four poster Daybed pod (also suitable for a night under the stars), the Zen Zone pod with its super sized bean bags and mountain views, and the Olive pod, made up of a pair of loungers under the shade of an olive tree. Guests are welcome to wander around the olive groves, or take a drink up to ‘La Percha’, seating on the hillside with wonderful mountain views and stunning sunsets. There is even a Pentanca court set amongst the olive trees.
Tabitha Symonds, founder of One Off Places, says: `With wellbeing at the forefront of all of our minds, places like this are the very essence of what people are looking for in a holiday. Aside from the perfectly placed relaxation pods, there’s almost no light pollution in the night skies here, making it a perfect stargazing spot’.
Aside from the personal wellbeing element, there is also an environmental wellbeing element, as the apartments are off-grid, harnessing all their electricity from solar power, and the water from rainwater harvesting. The rainwater is filtered and sterilised in the on site UV-C treatment plant (powered by solar panels).
For larger groups, book both apartments to get exclusive use.
