With wonderful views over peaceful farmland, this delightful little treehouse on the Isle of Wight is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway - can you think of anything more memorable?
Treehouse properties are always utterly charming and this one is no exception. Set in a secluded wooded area and up within the branches, The Nest has been built with great love and attention - all of which shows in the rustic but luxurious furnishings. And outside there is a private balcony where you and your loved one can relax with a morning coffee or an al fresco evening meal as you gaze across the Isle of Wight countryside. This is the ultimate way to immerse yourself in nature without sacrificing any of your creature comforts.
The Isle of Wight really has something for everyone. Historians will enjoy attractions such as Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle, families can head for the beautiful beaches or adventure parks like Robin Hill, adventurers can surf, cycle, kayak and climb, and hikers can enjoy heavenly walks along to the Needles or the Solent at Headon Warren. There are some gorgeous towns and villages, from old-fashioned Yarmouth and Cowes (the heart of British Yachting) to quintessential Seaview and the tiny village of Gurnard. And there are cafes and restaurants aplenty, not least the ones at secret Steephill Cove where you can clamber over the rocks before dining on some fresh seafood.
Park in the private woodland carpark and follow the secret path down to the Treehouse. A cart will be provided to take your luggage.
