In a sunny, tranquil and wooded setting on the eastern shore of picturesque Loch Lomond you will find a collection of five star holiday lodges, complete with private hot tubs, steam cabins, luxurious en-suite bedrooms and wonderful lake views.
Whether you’re here for a romantic break, a family reunion, an activity holiday with friends or even a wedding, the lodges and chalets at Loch Lomond Waterfront are the perfect base. The location, in the heart of the Loch Lomond National Park, is unbeatable, with superb views all round, and there’s plenty to keep you occupied both on site and in the surrounding area. If you want to be active you can go fishing, sailing, bathing and boating on the Loch or walking in the nearby hills. And if you’re here for rest and relaxation then you can just soak in the hot tub, have a spa treatment and then enjoy some delicious food and wine in one of the local pubs and restaurants. This is a fantastic place whatever the weather.
The lodges are located near the picturesque village of Balmaha and you don’t have to go far to experience the best Scotland has to offer. From sailing, canoe safaris and wake-boarding on the loch to exploring the Scottish Highlands and nearby historic castles, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Walking and climbing are hugely popular, with something to suit all abilities, and natural sights like the Devil’s Pulpit, Bracklinn Falls and Duncryne Hill are not to be missed. In the area you can play golf, go horse riding and take a speedboat tour round the islands, or you could spend an afternoon at Glengoyne Distillery or St Maha’s Well. And make sure you sample some of the many eateries nearby, not least the Oak Tree Inn in Balmaha itself.
To find the lodges go into Drymen village which is by-passed by the A811. Balmaha is 3.5 miles from Drymen village square along the B837. The Waterfront site is on the left 100 yards past the Balmaha village sign. In the car the lodges are only 35 minutes from Glasgow and Stirling, and 70-80 minutes from Edinburgh, and a regular bus service connects Balmaha village with Glasgow train station.

The eight lodges are two-storey, semi-detached and fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable and restful stay. Each has two bedrooms (which can be double or twin), an open plan living/dining area, a top-notch kitchen, a steam shower and a 42 inch TV with DVD player. The Diamond lodges are the best of the bunch, offering secluded settings, designer accommodation and exceptional views.
Each lodge has a private patio with a hot tub and all around there are private grounds full of nature. The site even has its own private beach which boasts safe, clean water for swimming and water sports.
Pets are allowed in some lodges. Lodges can interconnect if required. As well as the lodges there are also three sumptuous chalets on site. This is a beautiful and atmospheric setting for weddings so do get in touch for more information.
