One-Off Feature

A collection of five luxury log cabins situated on a private estate in a beautifully untouched corner of Cumbria, near the Lake District.  All the cabins have private hot tubs, decks overlooking the river, and are all secluded from one another, ensuring complete peace and privacy.

General Info

We have built a beautiful oak framed reception where we now offer free wifi & the daily papers should you wish to catch up with the outside world. Our cabins are unable to get mobile phone coverage or wifi due to their secluded locations and are ‘off the grid’ allowing you properly escape from reality.  To make your stay even more relaxing we now have a café/restaurant facility onsite, known as the Hidden River Cafe. Located in the same cabin as our reception area,  our resident Head Chef, Craig Hennessey, aims to provide a modern twist on seasonal fine dining.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

There are miles of walks along the river Lyne as well as a national trust walk, which follows on from the river Lyne. There are plenty of activities in the local area for all ages and interests to do on your Lake District log cabin break. From horse riding, biking and zip wiring through the trees, there are plenty of activities to participate in.  Only 25 minutes drive from the cabins, Carlisle is your nearest city with plenty of interesting activities on offer.  Carlisle offers plenty of local shops and all the High Street names, and you also have the great Gretna Gateway outlet village only 15 minutes drive from your log cabins.
