One-Off Feature

A two bedroom cabin hidden in the trees high above the Dyfi Estuary near Aberdovy in North Wales.  Head here for a digital detox - swap your TV and internet for estuary views, cosy accommodation, wonderful walks and beautiful Welsh coastline.  The Dyfi foreshore is accessible on foot via the public footpath below the cabin.

General Info

Recently refurbished, Caban Dyfi is a cosy place to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. It’s an excellent location for anyone - whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or family wanting some quality time together.  Catch the sun in the south facing conservatory or up on the patio, relax in the peaceful surroundings and explore the Dyfi Forest and surrounding area. The cabin is very dog friendly, allowing up to 3 dogs and Aberdyfi us a very dog friendly place- miles of sandy beach to run on as you walk away from its smaller dog free beach zone, sand dunes to explore and some of its eateries also allow dogs. The seafront pet shop, Dyfi Dogs is also nice and handy for any extra bits and pieces you might want for your four legged friends!

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

A stay at Caban Dyfi is ideal for exploring the Dyfi Forest with its mountain bike trails and the Cadair Idris with its lakes and spectactular routes.  Footpaths take you right from the chalet door into the hills behind, or head to Aberdyfi for flatter walks along miles of sandy beach between Aberdovey and Towyn.  An ideal place for dog walkers and ramblers!  If you like wildlife and birdwatching, then you’ve come to the right place - there are many bird and wildlife species living in the surrounding woodland.  The River Dyfi has been recognised by UNESCO as a very special place and, as such, has been designated Biosphere status, one of six such areas in the UK.  Visit the Dyfi osprey project at the Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve on the estuary where there’s an award winning viewing observatory.  Aberdovy itself has a wonderful beach, a seafront playground, crabbing, a lifeboat station, shops, restaurants, and lots of watersports on offer
