After many years of owning and running One Off Places, we've seen our fair share of wonderful places to stay.  We spend our days marvelling at the quality and variety of the 1000+ accommodation options we have on offer on the One Off Places website.

One the fab things about Suffolk (I’m an outsider) is that the pace of life seems to be very relaxed, so our guests seem to adopt that approach when they're out and about too. And what better place to do this than, in my opinion, along the most beautiful river in Suffolk? I’ve been up and down most of them and the Deben is my favourite. There are other wonderful rivers in our county, all with stunning scenery and of course, great pubs, but the Deben is the one that I enjoy the most.

Scotland is a country of magnificent beauty, from the isolation of the islands and the wildness of the rugged coastline to the splendour of the mountains and the vibrancy of the towns. With that in mind, it is no surprise that it is such a popular holiday destination, and there are lots of hotels and cottages that will provide a fairly standard base for your trip. But if you’d rather find unique places to stay in Scotland then dig a little deeper and you won’t be disappointed!
