A charming and eclectic combination of the traditional and the exotic, Yarrow Cottage is a delightful Cotswolds retreat where you can enjoy rest, romance and relaxation.
With its exposed wooden beams and chocolate box Cotswolds setting, you would be forgiven for thinking that this was simply a classic English country cottage, but the interiors are full of colourful touches like Balinese furniture and bold paintings. Creative lighting, sliding doors, White Company linens and abundant mod cons keep things feeling luxurious, the village itself is a delight, and nearby there are cosy pubs, rural walks, market towns and heritage sites to discover. It’s a dream destination for couples or a small family.
The cottage is located in the village of Churchill and it’s a short stroll to the excellent Chequer’s pub, the village green and the church. Chipping Norton and Kingham are both just a 5 minute drive away and we’re 3 miles from the famous Daylesford Organic farm. Alternatively you can explore the many delights of Blenheim Palace, sip on local ales at Horton Nook Brewery and visit the animals at the Cotswold Wildlife Park. If you’re a member then Soho Farmhouse is well worth a trip.
There is on-street parking immediately outside the cottage. Kingham station, on the main London to Hereford line, is a five minute drive away, with fast trains running regularly throughout the day. From West London it takes around an hour and 45 minutes, from Bristol it’s an hour and a half, and from Oxford it’s around 45 minutes. Further directions can be given at the time of booking.

Upstairs there is a super king size master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, a second bespoke double bedroom and a bathroom with under floor heating and a huge copper roll top bath. Downstairs there is a living room with comfy sofas, an alcove snug seat and a fireplace, a dining room with a table for six and a kitchen with all the amenities and utensils you could possibly need.
Outside there is a small garden to the front of the cottage and a slightly larger, more enclosed, garden at the back.
Minimum stay is 3 nights. Whilst being a dog-friendly cottage, Yarrow can only accept small-medium dogs for an additional £50.
