Kidwelly, with its 12th century castle, nature reserve and museum, is nearby, as are Llansteffan Castle, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, The Glyn Coch Craft Centre, the Welsh Motor Sports Centre for Formula Three Autocross and Ffos Las Race Course. Activities like fishing, walking and watersports are all very popular, or you could just gently explore the local woodland, estuaries and villages.
There is private parking for one car at the property and additional parking is available 100 yards away. There is a railway station in Ferryside.
The house has three sumptuous bedrooms – an en-suite Master, a double and a twin – as well as a family bathroom with shower, bath and WC. The kitchen diner is extremely well equipped and boasts a dining table right by the window, and up the oak staircase there is a lounge with comfortable sofas, a TV and patio doors to the balcony.
The first floor balcony is kitted out with a table and chairs so you can enjoy the panoramic views and there is a portable BBQ and table that you can use adjacent to the beach. At the back of the property there is a shared courtyard with a lockable bicycle rack and a rotary washing line.
