The Old Dairy is a luxurious and indulgent 5 bedroom house in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, set within a pretty walled garden and with a private swimming pool. Designed to accommodate large families, it has three sitting rooms, is well set up for children, and is walking distance to a couple of pubs.
Located right within the centre of Bloxham, The Old Dairy is hidden away at the end of a gravel driveway. As you arrive the house reveals itself; a pretty home built of old Oxfordshire stone set within beautifully kept gardens. Enter via a lovely old courtyard where the house opens onto a vaulted hallway. The attention to detail is apparent in every aspect of the house.
There are a couple of pubs within walking distance of the house, including the Red Lion and the Joiners Arms. The Boxing Hare is a great gastro pub and is a few minutes’ drive away, and the White Horse in Duns Tew is also a good choice. Soho Farmhouse is also nearby. Broughton Castle is a fantastic afternoon spent, Horton Nook Brewery is 5 miles away and we highly recommend you get up close and personal with the lions, giraffes and rhinos at the Cotswolds Wildlife Park.
From West London it takes around an hour and 20/30 minutes, from Bristol it’s an hour and a half, and from Oxford it’s around 45 minutes. Further directions can be given at the time of booking. The house is off the main road and very near to the pubs and shops of the town. Banbury train station is a handy 10 minute drive, and has frequent direct trains to London Marylebone station.
