One of four on site, this Gloucestershire yurt is perfect for an unusual romantic retreat in a lovely part of the country. The pretty village of Beckford is just a stroll away with a village store and Post Office as well as an excellent village pub. A little further afield from this yurt guests can enjoy the delightful Cotswold villages, the spa town of Cheltenham and many National Trust properties. Shop and pub/restaurant 8 mins walk.

The pretty village of Beckford has an excellent country inn, Norman church and nature reserve, and is in one of the most unspoilt areas of England. The village sits on the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border, close to the old market town of Evesham, famous for its horticulture. The regency spa town of Cheltenham, with its great range of shops, cinemas, theatres, restaurants, pubs, and famous Gold Cup horse racing, is a short drive away. Also close is Broadway, a quintessentially English village, one of the most beautiful in the Cotswolds, offering a superb range of unique shops and boutiques, top class art galleries, restaurants and hotels and steeped in history with its origins dating back to Roman times. The surrounding open countryside offers agricultural shows, open gardens and village fetes, plus many lovely walks, cycles trails, museums and National Trust properties - something to suit all tastes at any time of year.

Open plan yurt accommodation with one double bed, roll-top bath with hand-held shower, basin, fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with gas coal-effect fire. Separate WC just outside yurt. Underfloor heating with gas fire. Combination oven/microwave, 2-ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge.
The hand-built wooden veranda (with BBQ) outside the yurt is an ideal place for alfresco dining and enjoying the peace and tranquillity on offer. Guests at this Gloucestershire holiday home will also enjoy the sole use of the outdoor hot tub, set next to the yurt overlooking the lake. Alternatively, you may wish to make use of the owner's swimming pool, or relax in their large field. Use of rowing boat by arrangement with owner. Bike storage available.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Sorry, no smoking. One well behaved dog welcome. Note: No TV. Check-in 4pm, check-out 10am.
