Just 5 minutes away is the market town of Chard, where there is a selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Within 5 miles of the house you will find Forde Abbey House & Gardens and the cosy Tytherleigh Arms pub, and Chard is near to both the Devon and Dorset borders so there is plenty to discover nearby.
If you’re travelling by car leave the M5 at J25 and take the A358 towards Yeovil. By public transport you can fly to Exeter or Bristol or take the train to Axminster.

The house has two bedrooms – a mezzanine Master with a king size bed and a ground floor double – as well as a family bathroom with under floor heating and a wet room style shower. On the ground floor there is an open plan living/dining room with a log burning stove, a dining table and a flat screen TV, and the sleek modern kitchen has sliding doors, a glass table and all the mod cons.
The house has a partially covered wraparound patio with table and chairs as well as a private enclosed garden with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. There is parking available for three cars.
Conditions of Rental
Changeover day is usually Friday but short breaks will be accepted. Pets may be permitted.
