Secluded, stylish and utterly romantic, this beautifully converted thatched barn offers an unbeatable cocktail of comfort, cosiness and countryside calm. It’s a heavenly little bolthole.
Hidden in the depths of the Devonshire countryside with stunning views of the rolling Blackdown hills from every window, The Barn is the ultimate setting for a weekend of feasting, hiking, relaxing and nestling. Inside it is packed with thoughtful little touches, from Bamford toiletries and fluffy dressing gowns to a vintage silver roll top bath, a Nespresso coffee machine and a TV with an Amazon Fire Stick. Outside there is a patio where you can relax in peace and privacy. And nearby there are tea rooms, footpaths, country pubs and market towns not to mention the spectacular Jurassic Coast. What are you waiting for?
Cotleigh is a picturesque and tiny village situated at the foot of the Blackdown Hills in East Devon. The market town of Honiton is about 3 miles away and a couple of miles further south you will meet the rugged cliffs and beautiful beaches of the Jurassic Coast. The area surrounding the barn is full of pretty walking trails and there are plenty of tea rooms, farmers’ markets and local pubs to explore.
Cotleigh is a 3.5-hour drive from London or a 1.5-hour drive from Bath. The nearest train stations are Honiton, just under a 10 minute drive away, and Taunton, which is a 40 minute drive away. Detailed directions to The Barn are provided upon booking.
