The property is located in Longtown, a small but delightful town that runs alongside the River Esk and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Nearby you will find the Solway Coast AONB, the Northumberland National Park, the North Pennines AONB and the Lake District National Park, as well as the towns of Brampton and Carlisle. And you can easily take a day trip to Dumfries (27 miles away) or to Edinburgh and Glasgow (just over an hour’s drive). Activities like walking and cycling are immensely popular here, and places like Hadrian’s Wall and Gretna Green are not to be missed.

There is under floor heating throughout.
