Farm tours available, children's play area, and shop!

One-Off Feature

With its quirky rustic interiors and views across open farmland dotted with rare breed sheep, pigs, goats, poultry and alpacas, this country cabin in rural Somerset offers the perfect half cottage half glamping holiday experience.

General Info

Private, peaceful and charmingly unique, the Deckhouse Cabin is white washed like a cricket pavilion on the outside and furnished with cosiness and character on the inside. The accommodation feels unspoilt and authentic and yet all the mod cons are provided, from a TV to a retro fridge-freezer. Outside there’s a hammock and firepit, not to mention a private wood fired hot tub. And nearby there are beaches, walks, country pubs, National Trust estates and opportunities aplenty for outdoor pursuits. Whether you’re looking for a romantic retreat or a fun family hideaway, this lovely cabin will not disappoint.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

Middle Stone Farm sits in the midst of glorious countryside, with Exmoor National Park on one side and the Quantock Hills on the other. If you enjoy walking, cycling and fresh air then you’ve definitely come to the right place, and the area is full of thatched villages, beautiful beaches and National Trust properties like Dunster Castle, Knighthayes Court and Killerton House. Those in search of an adrenalin rush can go kayaking, coasteering, surfing, rock climbing and clay pigeon shooting, and those who would prefer to sit back and relax can visit places like Porlock Weir and Selworthy before sampling the abundant local farmers’ markets, cafes and pubs.  Farm tours are available from Spring to Autumn and breakfast hampers, newspaper deliveries, BBQ packs and homemade meals are also available.
