One-Off Feature

This exquisite chateau is situated in the Gironde hills, right in the heart of the wine region of South West France. With a private tennis court and heated pool, surrounded by rolling vineyards and within easy reach of lots of activities, a holiday in a chateau is a real treat and this is a wonderful location.

General Info

The Chateau is an ideal venue to explore the region; it provides great comfort with 4 large reception rooms, a huge kitchen and pantry, and a south facing conservatory. There is lots of space inside and out. It is situated in the Gironde hills bordering the Lot-et-Garonne and the Dordogne, a beautiful location in the wine region of the South-West of France. This scenic area offers a wide range of activities and sight-seeing excursions. The site dates back to Roman times and the main building dates from the 15th century. The Chateau is considered a local historic monument, with interesting features and signs of fortification most likely associated with the 100 years war. Previous owners include the Marquis de Seville and the Ducs de Duras. An 'information book’ contains useful information for your castle holiday and lists places of interest in the area. It is accompanied by maps and a restaurant guide. The Chateau is prepared for your arrival; all you have to do is enjoy yourselves!
