This lovely timber shepherd`s hut is set against a wooded backdrop on a 100-acre working cattle farm, on the outskirts of the village of Leighton in Shropshire. It is a cosy romantic retreat for anyone wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but still be close enough to Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.
The shepherd`s hut accommodation is close to the World Heritage Sites at Ironbridge Gorge, the bustling town of Shrewsbury and Wroxeter Roman City. A little further afield are the market towns of Ludlow and Bridgnorth. It is also close to other Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the South Shropshire Hills with excellent walking and cycling.Shop 3 miles. Pub 3.5 miles drive or 20 mins walk by footpath.
The historic village of Leighton, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1087, is in the heart of beautiful Shropshire, and is only four miles from the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, home of the world's first iron-built bridge, built 1777-79. The Ironbridge Gorge is one of the country's most popular tourist attractions. Set in a lovely wooded valley, the pretty village has many pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. A collection of industrial and Victorian themed museums make up the Ironbridge Museums, including the renowned Blist Hill Victorian Village, where you can step back in time. Enjoy the nearby medieval towns of Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Ludlow, as well as many NT properties including Attingham Hall and Park, along with the fascinating Wroxeter Roman City and Vineyard. A wonderful all-year-round location.

Outside is a private decked area with table and chairs and a charcoal barbecue, set against a lovely woodland backdrop, where you can unwind with a refreshing drink or dine alfresco. Off road parking for 1 car approximately 100 yards away.
