This unusual Somerset holiday cottage, 26' in diameter, offers a perfect romantic retreat for couples or a small family who want to sample a different way of living. Outside, you can stroll straight from the door into the countryside and discover the nearby woodlands and valley, or just relax, sip a refreshing drink and take in the views across the fields.

The Area Surrounding The Property / Accommodation

The Somerset village of Stratton-on-the-Fosse straddles the Fosse Way, an ancient Roman road which linked the cities of Lincoln and Exeter. The village is about 12 miles from the centre of Bath, and offers a village pub, with the nearest shop located 1 mile away. Located on the eastern edge of the Mendip Hills, the area around the village provides great walks, as well as cycle trails along the old Somerset and Dorset railway. Near Stratton-on-the-Fosse there are many attractions including the Glastonbury Tor, Nunney Castle, Wells Cathedral and Priddy Nine Barrows. Twelve miles away is the beautiful city of Bath and no matter what time of year you visit, there is something for everyone including the stunning architecture of its Georgian terraces, music festivals galore, the Christmas markets, the Roman Baths, plenty of specialist shops and of course the Thermal Bath Spa, Britain’s only natural spa where you can indulge yourself under a starlit sky.
