Converted in 2012, this former Scout hall is just outside the village of Chale on the south coast of the Isle of Wight. A super stylish retro conversion, it sleeps up to eight people and has stunning coastal views towards the Needles. Unique and unusual, it is the very essence of a One Off Place.
The Scout Hall is just outside the village of Chale in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has stunning and far-reaching coastal views and is an area which is superb for walking. Externally the building has been restored using original materials and paint colours. Internally the space has been converted to ‘upside-down’ living accommodation to make the most of the views.
There is masses to do on the Isle of Wight. Fabulous surfing beaches, wonderful walking country, great cycle routes. Activities on offer include Tree Climbing, Water-sports, Paragliding, Ice-skating and Cycling .. deckchair lounging is also very keenly taken up. There are also lots of quirky places to visit, from Godshill model village and the Havenstreet Steam Railway, to the kitsch Blackgang Chine ‘fantasy park’. There’s a zoo, dinosaur museums, botanical gardens, roman villas, farm visits - masses on offer for all the family.
