Tucked half way down a cliff overlooking a stunningly beautiful bay in Cornwall, Rock Hollow Chalet is a peaceful, private and fantastically located holiday home where you can enjoy authentic seaside living. Easy to while away several hours simply staring out to the bay, where if you're lucky, you might even get to see dolphins.
With its cosy comfortable interiors, coastal surroundings and views that are nothing short of breathtaking, Rock Hollow Chalet is the perfect setting for friends, families and couples to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of being by the sea. The chalet itself has everything you could need, the bay below stretches from Rame Head to Looe and is known as the ‘forgotten corner’ of Cornwall. And nearby there are quaint villages, local pubs and traditional cafes, not to mention sandy beaches, family attractions and opportunities aplenty for outdoor pursuits. This is a gorgeous little spot.
This is a beautiful part of the world and there are lots of active ways to explore it, from walks along the South West Coast Path and surfing at Whitsand Bay to golf, horse riding, fishing and wreck diving in HMS Scilla (which the chalet actually overlooks). Places like the Eden Project and the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth are must-see attractions but you should also make time for the Monkey Sanctuary in Looe, Mount Edgecumbe House and Country Park and the pretty villages of Cawsand and Kingsand. And in terms of shops and restaurants, there are amenities at Millbrook (2 miles away) and two eateries nearby - the Cliff Top Café above and the View Café below.
Take the A38 to Plymouth then over the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall until you get to Trerulefoot roundabout. Turn left onto Torpoint Road A374 signposted to Millbrook. Turn right onto B3247 and then turn right again to Whitsand Bay and Tregonhawke cliff. Private parking place in field on left hand side of the road.
