Beautifully stylish interior design, expansive living areas, private outdoor space and far-reaching views over Cotswolds countryside - what better setting could there be for a luxurious yet relaxed family holiday?
Set within the almost unimaginably picturesque village of Bibury, the Old Hay Barn is a traditional Cotswold stone building which has been completely converted into a haven of artisanal pieces and creature comforts. Hand-crafted vases, olive-wood sinks and hand-woven baskets are features throughout, as are sumptuous soft furnishings and contemporary amenities. And in the area there are some fantastic eateries, not to mention historic properties, garden centres, farm shops and market towns. Whether you’re looking for relaxation or activity, there couldn’t be a better base for either.
Bibury itself is a pretty and popular destination, but nearby you will also find the charming village of Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford Garden Centre, Daylesford Organic Farm (with its luxurious spa), the magnificent Blenheim Palace, and the peaceful lakes and waterways of the Cotswold Water Park. The Hook Norton Brewery and Cotswolds Distillery are perfect places to sample local ales and spirits, or you could visit one of the many wonderful pubs and restaurants nearby - The Catherine Wheel, The Wild Rabbit, The Potager at Barnsley House, the Swan Brasserie and The Bell Inn to name but a few.
