Set within a private 98 acre estate, this characterful French manoir is a wonderful base for fully tutored week-long painting holidays.  A week's course includes 7 nights accommodation, daily painting tuition, 1:1 sessions with professional artists, three meals a day, and several outings to nearby sights.  The house itself boasts five en-suite bedrooms, a private swimming pool and stunning views over valleys, woods, fields and lakes.  You may never want to leave!

General Info

The 7 night painting courses run from May to September and include three meals a day (no lunch on excursion days).  You will get daily painting tuition and 1 to 1 sessions with professional artists.  Also included in the price are outings to several places, such as St. Emilion, St Seurin sur l'Isle, Bergerac, and Monbazillac.  The tutoring takes place around the manoir grounds, and you will have the chance to paint at some of the excursion locations.

Situated amongst the vineyards of the Dordogne, you’d be hard pressed to find a more peaceful and idyllic spot than this. The house is traditional and elegant, with lots of original features but also a host of modern comforts. The grounds are simply magical, with three fishing lakes, a hidden valley, beautiful meadows and verdant woods. And nearby you can spend your days hiking, biking, swimming, painting, playing tennis, visiting vineyards or simply discovering the many cultural and gastronomic delights of the region at your own pace. This is authentic France at its best.
