Set within stunning countryside, Lake House is a beautiful thatched period house with traditional character, contemporary home comforts and gorgeous far-reaching views from the garden. What better setting for a family holiday or a retreat with friends?
If you’re looking for an authentic rural escape then you’ve come to the right place. Inside, Lake House is full of original features like exposed stone walls and an open fireplace, but it has also been lovingly modernised to provide space and luxury for every guest. Outside, the enclosed garden looks over the surrounding countryside and down towards the lake (which is stocked with carp and perfect for keen fishermen). And further afield are the many activities and attractions of North Devon, where there really is something to keep everyone occupied. This is a place where you can’t help but make happy memories.

The house sits in a secluded location but there is plenty to see and do nearby. The family favourite Milky Way Adventure Park is only a half hour drive away or an hour in the car will take you to Exmoor National Park with its wonderful mix of moorland, woodland, valleys and farmland. And after a day of walking, cycling and exploring there are abundant cosy pubs and quaint tea rooms to recharge in.
Directions provided on booking.

One of the bathrooms features a freestanding roll top bath.
Outside the house there is an enclosed garden area with a patio table and chairs, as well as a hot tub for 4-6 people. Down at the lake there is a shared BBQ.
