With its chic interiors, roaring fires, spacious layout, rolling lawns, Juliet balcony and quiet cobbled courtyard, Jessica is the ultimate Brecon Beacons holiday cottage. This is a superb property in a stunning part of the world.
Jessica has been featured in the Telegraph and it isn’t hard to see why. The cottage has everything you could need for a relaxing and restorative holiday - comfortable beds, stylish furnishings, contemporary amenities, beautiful sash windows, a wood burning stove, a nature trail within the grounds… the list goes on. And nearby you will find riverbank restaurants, the lovely literary town of Hay-on-Wye, the Brecon Beacons themselves and all sorts of opportunities for outdoor pursuits. Whether you’re here as a family or a group of friends you’re sure to make some wonderful memories.
The River Wye, where you can fish for salmon and trout, runs just below the house and a short walk along the banks will take you to the River Café at Glasbury. You could hire a canoe and paddle 5 miles to Hay-on-Wye or 10 miles to The Boat Inn at Whitney, or you could drive the 4 miles to Hay and explore the quaint narrow streets, boutique clothes shops, antique dealers and book stores. Five miles away the Gospel Pass allows direct routes into the Llanthony Valley, Offa's Dyke Path, and the National Cycle Route 42 and there are walking trail galore, and activities like hang gliding, shooting, rock climbing, abseiling, gorge-walking, rafting, pot-holing, golf, off-road driving, paintballing, orienteering and quad-biking are all available in the area.
