Situated at the top of the idyllic and wonderfully named area of Crumplehorn, Inglenook Cottage is an old-style yet beautifully renovated bolthole where you can enjoy peace, privacy and pretty surroundings.
Just a stone’s throw from the harbour front and a short walk from the charming fishing village of Polperro, Inglenook Cottage is the perfect spot for a romantic retreat or a relaxing seaside holiday. The cottage itself (which naturally has an inglenook fireplace and an open fire) is stylish, comfortable and contemporary, the pretty garden is perfect for soaking up the sun, and the area is picturesque and tranquil. What more could you want from a coastal break?
The cottage is fantastically located, with the village tearoom, the harbour front and the characterful Crumplehorn Inn just a two minute stroll away. The delightful village of Polperro, a short walk round the coast, is home to shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as a small sandy beach and a boat-filled harbour. And within a short drive are Looe, with its fish and chip shops and family-friendly beach, and Fowey, where there are boutiques, art galleries and regattas to enjoy. If you want to get some fresh Cornish air in your lungs then you can walk a stretch of the coast path, play golf, take a boat trip or go kayaking, and if you want to explore then don’t miss the Duchy Garden Centre, the Eden Project and one of the National Trust houses in the area.
From Looe, take the A387 to Polperro.
