Aird Steading Cottage enjoys a truly splendid position on the west coast of Argyll and is unique in that it is the only cottage on Craignish peninsula to have breath taking views of both Loch Craignish to the east and the islands of Jura, Scarba, Mull and Luing to the west. Whether you’re walking around the farm, exploring secluded bays, spotting seals, dolphins, otters and buzzards, sea fishing or enjoying the evening sunsets, this is the perfect getaway for two, a place to experience complete peace and tranquillity. Within easy reach of Ardfern, Oban, Lochgilphead and the surrounding areas, the cottage is the ideal base for exploring this beautiful corner of Scotland.

The cottage has just one bedroom, with a king size bed and a lovely little window seat with views east to Loch Craignish and west to Mull. It also has a bathroom with a Jacuzzi and shower, a fully fitted kitchen/dining room, and a lounge with a wood burning stove and views west towards the islands of Jura, Scarba, Mull and Luing. The cottage has oil fired central heating throughout, and it is also kitted out with all the mod cons, from a TV, DVD player and CD player to an iPod dock, a telephone and WiFi. It even has a selection of books for guests to borrow and enjoy. All linen and towels are provided.
The cottage has a private enclosed garden complete with garden furniture.
The farm and cottages are run by Malcolm and Alison Campbell - Malcolm is the third generation of the Campbell's at Aird, rearing beef cattle and sheep. Malcolm and Alison will be there to welcome you on arrival and will be available during your stay to ensure you have a truly enjoyable West Highland experience.
